Most UAE companies need their annual financial statements audited, whether the law requires it or a bank, investor or licensing authority asks for it. We audit under International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and issue an independent opinion on whether your statements give a true and fair view under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs.
Who this is for
- Mainland LLCs that must appoint an auditor under the UAE Commercial Companies Law
- Companies whose bank facilities or covenants require audited accounts
- Businesses raising capital, onboarding investors or preparing for a sale
- Groups that need audited subsidiary accounts for consolidation
What the engagement covers
Planning & materiality
We learn how your business makes money, then set materiality and identify the balances most likely to be misstated.
Controls walkthrough
We trace the key cycles (sales, purchases, payroll and cash) to see where controls are working and where they rely on people.
Substantive testing
We confirm balances with banks and counterparties, vouch samples to source documents and test cut-off and valuation.
Disclosure review
We check the notes and presentation against IFRS so the statements are complete as well as accurate.
What you receive
- Signed independent auditor's report
- Audited financial statements with notes
- Management letter with control observations
- Adjusting entries schedule, agreed with you
Frequently asked questions
Do you also prepare our accounts?
No. An auditor cannot audit books it has prepared. If your records need work first, we will tell you exactly what is missing so your accountant can close the year.
Which framework do you report under?
Full IFRS, or IFRS for SMEs where your company qualifies and your stakeholders accept it. We agree this before fieldwork starts.
